My first entri

Although lots of people have tried this kind of blogging stuff hundred yearssss agoooo, I have to admit that this is my first time getting in touch with something like this.

I was one of those participants who joined a call seminar for English teacher in my town, and blogging is one method that the speakers introduced us to.

I'm crazy for the blogging teaching method that they introduced us to. That's why I want to try this out!

Well, I actually start this blog for the purpose of English learning.
I just want to realize a new knowledge that I just got from the seminar.
I'd like to prove that THIS IS HIGHLY POSSIBLE to make my students learn English outside the classroom without they even realize that they are learning!
Amazing, isn't it?

Soooooo I'm going to ask the students to create their blog accounts.
For starter I'm not going to make this too elaborate.
I'll just ask each student to post 100 to 150 words about what happen to them during 2 weeks in their blog, and during those weeks each student has to give comment to at least two of his classmates, and the comments will be about correcting grammar of their friends' post.
This way they may start the discussion. by using English of course.

They don't need to be 100% perfect for their first posts.
what they need is ONLY TO WRITE.
And the correction will be made by their friends.

Well students tend to find it hard to notice their own mistakes. by asking their friends to correct the mistakes, they themselves create a peer teaching team! and they do not realize that.

The posts can be anything.
Really anything.
Well, as long as they do not violate the norms.

if the students have got used to this method, I will shorten the time to one week.

and we'll see whether this method works for Indonesian students or not. ^__^
